Al Safwa Company for Security and Defense Systems is a Kuwaiti shareholding company (closed) founded by the supreme directives of retired officers from the army, the police, the National Guard, and the general fire department. The state, represented by the General Investment Authority, contributes 20% of the capital. The company was established on November 15, 1993 AD. She started her work at the beginning of 1994 AD.

The company has several purposes, a chairman and all members of the board of directors are retired officers, and their number is six. The main purpose of its establishment was to honor and reward these officers for their dedication and great services, to involve them in state projects and to push them to continue those good efforts in serving the country by benefiting from their previous experiences in fields similar to their previous work.
